Zoleka Tengimfene, an enthusiastic entrepreneur from Langa township in Cape Town, founded her wine business. Her passion for wine ignited when she began selling her friends' wines, which led her to establish her wine venture.
The business, Zoleka Wines, is a beautiful fusion of cultures that symbolizes the harmonious blending of two worlds. Although initially targeting the local South African market, Zoleka has a grand vision of achieving international recognition for its wines.
The company caters to high-class African individuals with a range of wines like MCC AMISTOSO - Blanc de Blanc, Zoleka Cape Blend, and Zoleka Red Blend, crafted in renowned wine regions like Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, where the vineyards benefit from the fertile soils and ideal climatic conditions. In addition to offering exceptional wines, Zoleka Wines provides a range of services to enhance the wine experience, including wine tastings, special events, and a wine club membership.

About Me
My name is Zoleka Tengimfene
I am the founder of Zoleka Wines. I was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, where I developed a passion for my homeland's diverse flavors and rich culture. Despite exploring different career paths, I eventually discovered my true calling in winemaking.
Nowadays, I take great pride in sharing my love for wine through my wine collection. My ultimate goal is to showcase South Africa's unique terroir to the rest of the world!
About Our Wine
TASTING NOTES

Created in the traditional French method of bottle fermentation known as Cap Classique in South Africa, this wine was fermented and aged in oak for 8 months, it then spent a further 5 year on the lees. The Blanc de Blancs is a showcase of the aging potential of Chardonnay with citrus notes and delicate hints of oak on the nose. The full-textured palate has whisper of passion fruit with a fine and elegant mousse.
The rich, full-bodied palate allows a wide range of pairings, doing especially well with rich seafood dishes and decadent desserts.

TASTING NOTES:

A beautiful collaboration of the typical characteristics of the cultivars, plums, red cherries, liquorice, blueberry, old saddle leather, cigar box and cloves.
This approachable wine has beautiful ripe, soft and silky tannins with good balance and a lingering finish. Black cherry, plums, tobacco and herbaceous notes are prominent. Balanced acidity and vibrant flavours complement this elegant wine.

Blend: Merlot 45%, Cabernet Sauvignon 26%, Syrah 17%, Cabernet Franc 12%
Analysis: Alc: 14.5% • TA: 4.4g/l • RS: 3.7g/l • pH: 3.86
TASTING NOTES:
​
A full -bodied red blend, with Pinotage, South Africa's own cultivar. Spicy with a lot of ripe fruit and pleasantly dry tannins.
Spicy and peppery on the nose with well-integrated berry flavours from the Cabernet. A medium to full bodied wine with lots of fruit and a lingering after taste.
